Tried brewing [[Floating Leaves 2024 Smooth Water Baozhong]] with no filter on the Pulsar -- I don't yet have the metal filters which are more suitable for tea, so I previously had been using the supplied paper filters. I suspected that part of the reason for the brews being more anemic than expected was due to microparticles being filtered out, and today's brew, which is much better, confirms that. I definitely need to get the metal filters. (Although, for large leaf tea like Baozhong the filters are basically entirely optional. Only a couple of visible leaf fragments got through.
