A lot of worms are canned in the gap between the vibes of "morals" and "ethics" in English usage. I'm generally with (my reading of?) Foucault as making the case that power precedes and shapes both rationality and morality and you have to examine those things historically rather than just logically in order to understand them, but at the end of the day, you also just have to pick sides.
