# Notes Pattern D -- Mild, quite floral, somewhat sweet. Very slight astringency, virtually no bitterness. Low minerality, a little chilling effect almost entirely on aftertaste, interestingly. Medium body. Refreshing. I brewed twice with pattern D, once with extensive swirling to agitate during the short steeps, and got a quite (relatively) harsh result. Tried again with no agitation and got a much better result. So, agitation bad on short steeps. (Presumably because it is increasing extraction enough to avoid the things we're trying to duck there.) D3 -- Definitely more of a bite to it, but the bitterness is very slight and pleasant to me. Not as astringent as I might have expected. Moderately floral. Thicker body. Some sweetness still present, especially on aftertaste. Mineralality and chilling effect aren't overemphasized. # Vendor Copy > Story > > Grown without agrochemicals at ~1200 meters in Shizuo, Alishan.
