Dang, that's good tea. Orange-red liquor. Dried fruit forward. Quite sweet on early steeps. It doesn't feel smoky so much as there's a kind of sweet charred flavor, like if you're baking a sweet potato or a butternut squash or something like that in the oven and the surface is blackened. I've always enjoyed low-grade lapsang souchong as well but this is super complex and interesting by comparison.

> Sourced directly from a tea farmer in Wuyi Mountain Reserve. The tea leaves were harvested in early April, 2021 from the Zheng Yan area in Wu Yi Mountain at an average elevation of 800 meters. It can be steeped 6 - 8 times in a Gaiwan vessel.
