I love bags, and I have a lot of them, and several of them have loop fields for displaying morale patches. This is originally a military thing but became very popular amongst "EDC" / tacticool bag enthusiasts. I don't love the cryptofascist pseudomilitaria, but it is fun to customize your bags and be able to swap things around if/when you feel like it. Plus, if I'm carrying a bag that has "tactical" vibes, I think it's beneficial to signal clearly that I'm not a fucking fascist. Sometimes this works better if you stick several small pieces of hook to the backing rather than one big one, especially if the velcro has a stiffer backing. You an also get patches that have sewn-on hook backing, but a lot of the dedicated morale patch vendors are either very fascist or very edgelord or both.
